[quote:Anonymous Coward 1487375:MV8yMDEzMTU0XzMzODI5MDE5X0NBMUZERTBD] [quote:Rabid_Wolf:MV8yMDEzMTU0XzMzODI4OTkxX0JCNzA4MERD] Were it actually a "Second Sun", we would already see it in the sky (most likely during the day time as well as night) given it's estimated distance from us. Saturn is actually farther away from the Earth than this comet is currently, and Saturn is quite visible to the naked eye. This is not the doom you were looking for. [/quote] its been spotted already,i have seen it with my own eyes,go to youtube the videos are there to see the light will grow much stronger over the next few months,15 times brighter than a full moon is damn bright! Coming to the night sky, the comet fifteen times brighter than the moon
Astronomers have discovered a new supercomet that
will be fifteen times brighter than the moon
when it crosses the night sky next year.
is so named because it was first spotted on photos taken by Vitali Nevski and Artyom Novichonok from Russia using the International Scientific Optical Network telescope.
