The productions arn't bad, and they a nice choice of instruments, but if they where to be true hip hop it would have catchy chorus and singing in it. Preferably a chick singing away. Then i think he would be in the top 5 best hip hop producers. Immortal technique- natural beauty is what i would call true hip hop, but that's just me ;)
I understand your point completely, but he is so good that he does not need a chorus on every song. He keeps the same message through the whole song without stopping. Never heard anything like it.
Original Message
For those of you that love hip-hop this is for you. And I mean REAL hip hop, not that mainstream garbage. Even if you do not like hip-hop, maybe you have never even heard true hip-hop, please check this out. This man gives me the chills when he spits his track. I have never heard anything like it in my life and I know that I will never hear anything like it again. His flow is second to none and his lyrics are out of this world. You really have to listen to the message he is conveying to really appreciate it. I am begging everyone that reads this to please give it a chance and even if you don't like the music you must appreciate his artistry.
The MC's name is RA Scion and he was a part of Common Market, which is just the MC and his DJ/Producer Sabzi. Sabzi is currently the DJ/Producer for Blue Scholars. They all collaborated at one point. Common Market was over as of 2009, but there music lives on as there is nothing like it.
Here are some of my favorite songs, and the link to the lyrics because he can be hard to follow as his lyrics are very dense.
Please let me know what you think, good or bad. Because nothing has ever moved me before like their music has.
