Yes, the bible doesn't hate rich people at all. The bible is a story telling you to focus on God, not earthly things like money. If God is pure love, where does money or rich fit in with that? It just doesn't. Most people who have money are truly focused on their money and that to them is their security. God, our creator, wants us to be focused on him for security. He loves us so much, and wants us to love him not money.
