Original Message About 3 weeks ago my computer suddenly locked up. This spam looking page came on and said I needed to pay the government $200.00 in 48 hours. I read the page over and there were spelling errors on it. I just thought it was a virus or spam or something like that. In a couple of days it disappeared and I could use my computer again. I never paid the money. It didn't look professional at all. It sai something was found on my computer that wasn't legal.

Now it's happened again and my computers been locked up for about 3 days. This time it says it is from the FBI. It lists about 8 things that it might be that is illegal like copyrighted material to porn.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Is this for real? I've never seen it before in my life. I don't have anything on my computer that I know of. I know I don't have anything like porn on it.

I just thought I would try and ask if anyone else has experienced this and, if so, what can I expect. I haven't paid this fine either.
