On July 8 the Washington Post reported the story of the April 20 death of three U.S. Special Operations Forces service members in Mali, a North African country known for a growing Islamic insurgency, and more recently the scene of a coup in March. The soldiers’ deaths are believed to be the result of vehicle accident, as their rented Toyota Land Cruiser went off a bridge in the pre-dawn hours, and plunged into the Niger River. http://www.policymic.com/articles/10952/special-ops-u-s-commandos-found-dead-in-mali-with-moroccan-prostitutes
We've been on the Mali trail for awhile ... On the 1st page of this thread is link & long excerpt from the July 8th Washington Post article. http://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message2024590/pg1 (7th post on the Thread) That article was one of the main reasons I started this thread...
It is a very telling read. [quote:insertfunnyusername:MV8yMDI0NTkwXzM1NzM0Mjg3X0EzODhDMEVG] A guy i follow says that the French face huge problems in administrative work and intelligence dept and asked help from US coz they lack long range capabilities. They also ask for US drones but US doesn't seem willing to give them for now.
I'll also add about the drones, only one US agency is allowed to operate armed drones and fire on targets without US troops on the ground to confirm the target, it is not the US military.
Background - About a year ago, I stumbled on a website run by a group of students in France. They represented an organization called the National Movement for the Liberation of Azawad (MNLA is its initials in French).
I kept up with their movement to establish an independent Taureg state in Northern Mali. As I followed their statements and the occasional MSM article, it became apparent that something was not quite right. These kids were being set up. I came to believe that I was watching Western intelligence operation to create the pretext for Western intervention in Africa (in other words, I was watching a "false flag" war in the making)...
By early October, the yellow journalism building the case for war was undeniable...So, I decided to create this thread. Using MSM news sources (with occasional commentary posts) I tried to give the background on what is happening in Mali & why it might be happening....
Thanks for reading - Here is my original post...
