[quote:Anonymous Coward 31243632:MV8yMDI0NTkwXzM1NzQxNTk1X0Q0MkNBQTI1] Weapons and Training for Algeria attack came from Zintan, Libya The arms used by militants who seized an Algerian gas plant in a deadly hostage-taking drama came from Libyan rebels... "The first interrogations of the three terrorist captured by security services have revealed that rebels in Zintan (southwest Libya) were behind the sale of the arms used against the gas plant," said Echorouk... The militants' chief, Algerian Mohamed Lamine Bencheneb, killed in the assault, negotiated the sale of Kalashnikov assault rifles for $500 each and rockets priced at $800, according to Echorouk... "Logistical support was provided from Libya," said the source close to hardline Islamist groups in Libya, which has seen a rise in extremism since the fall of Kadhafi... The Tunisian daily El Watan, meanwhile, reported that "the operation was organised and prepared in Libya. Only some elements came from northern Mali to reinforce the group." http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5jvU-FZVdBZUPA4iixgqkDhy13vmw?docId=CNG.4d421a2b487699b43c004738ea055a9b.451 Zintani militias guard the oil fields of Southern Libya. Zintan was a base of French special operations throughout the Libyan uprising. French media even reported that France was air-dropping weapons into Zintan during the uprising (which was contrary to niter national law) [/quote]
Background - About a year ago, I stumbled on a website run by a group of students in France. They represented an organization called the National Movement for the Liberation of Azawad (MNLA is its initials in French).
I kept up with their movement to establish an independent Taureg state in Northern Mali. As I followed their statements and the occasional MSM article, it became apparent that something was not quite right. These kids were being set up. I came to believe that I was watching Western intelligence operation to create the pretext for Western intervention in Africa (in other words, I was watching a "false flag" war in the making)...
By early October, the yellow journalism building the case for war was undeniable...So, I decided to create this thread. Using MSM news sources (with occasional commentary posts) I tried to give the background on what is happening in Mali & why it might be happening....
Thanks for reading - Here is my original post...
