The visit comes amid talks of an African-led military intervention in Mali. http://www.dw.de/westerwelle-pledges-german-solidarity-with-mali/a-16348029
I thought it was interesting trip began in Senegal.... Now that Mauritania & Algeria will not be sending troops....there is a strong desire to get the Muslim countries in the region on board.... Islam is practiced by 94% of the population of Senegal (Wikipedia) I think that's one of the highest percentages among the countries that are South of Mali...
One thing is certain for me, shits getting real whenever ze Germans do visits and spiegel writes roadtrips. N.Mali is important geopoliticaly for the rest of the neighbors because this can spread very fast in their countries too. I won't be surprised at all if i see the small military group they are preparing for intervention losing hard and extremism expanding to the whole region. Seems that some people want this to happen, can't explain any other way the fiasco after fiasco we are seeing the last 2 years.:1dunno1:
Background - About a year ago, I stumbled on a website run by a group of students in France. They represented an organization called the National Movement for the Liberation of Azawad (MNLA is its initials in French).
I kept up with their movement to establish an independent Taureg state in Northern Mali. As I followed their statements and the occasional MSM article, it became apparent that something was not quite right. These kids were being set up. I came to believe that I was watching Western intelligence operation to create the pretext for Western intervention in Africa (in other words, I was watching a "false flag" war in the making)...
By early October, the yellow journalism building the case for war was undeniable...So, I decided to create this thread. Using MSM news sources (with occasional commentary posts) I tried to give the background on what is happening in Mali & why it might be happening....
Thanks for reading - Here is my original post...
