[quote:Anonymous Coward 16800654:MV8yMDI1ODQ3XzM0MDQ2NzkzXzcyMUY1NkRF] I do believe you have to forgive yourself to heal and let go. There is something in the act of getting up the courage to go and saying a confession to another person that makes it different than just saying it in your prayers - it humbles you. If you have been thinking about going, it will probably bother you more if you don't go. I believe you are truly sorry and wish the best. [/quote]

Of the Catholic kind.
It has been on my mind and squirming around in my heart all year, but the truth is I'm scared.
I've had abortions, been unfaithful, loved-up some lovers.
I know now these are acts against my Lord's wishes.
But I still find it hard to regret them, as much as I feel bad that I was so bad..
I really, really am sorry I caused pain
and I accept my acts are wrong
but if I hadn't done them, if I'd been perfect,
could my Lord love me any more?
