[quote:K.Kool:MV8yMDMwNzAxXzM0MTMwNDg4X0VERjQ5RUY2] [quote:Anonymous Coward 20096481:MV8yMDMwNzAxXzM0MTMwMTQwXzQ5NTE5QjIz] Congrats on giving another kitty a home and a family to love her. There are so many out there needing homes. We always keep our home at "cat-pacity" for that reason. We lost my kitty's inseparable love in August, and found him a new companion a few weeks ago. They are slowly becoming friends, not at the sleeping in a heap stage yet. I think if you just give them time to get used to each other, all will be fine, and bonds will be formed. It's important to keep reassuring your Brad that you still love him the most, that he's still the Big King of the house, lol. Kittens are very playful, and little CCMM will likely test Brad's boundaries. But unless Brad's super territorial and aggressive, they will work things out just fine, and you'll get to enjoy watching them play and become pals. Good luck!
Thanks, good advice. Brad is used to sleeping with my daughter Ami, but Chicky seems to like it too, who should get the bed at this stage of the relationship?
My daughter has a new kitten, she is beyond cute, and I'm in love already, but I had forgotten the fascination of laptops kittens hold, and how one soft paw can wreak so much havoc.
She is Chicky-Chicky Mau-Mau, and we brought her home yesterday. A few months ago Tinkerbell was killed by a ginger feral cat, and Brad had been grieving, so we are hoping he will get to like Chicky, but right now he is very snarky, although he hasn't attacked her.
Any advice from any cat owners?
