[quote:ExoPoliChick:MV8yMDM2OTA3XzM0MjQxMDE3XzYzNDIyNUFE] I'm all for preparing, I am a prepper myself, but I heard a story from a guy who stopped another guy from bashing some 80 year old woman on the head because she was carrying away a jug of water. Really people? If you had shelves of bread and water, would you not give it to those in need? Are you the same people wondering where international aid is??? Charity begins at home, you know. Humans - when faced with extreme crisis and desperation - will resort to whatever it takes to put food and water in the mouths of themselves and their loved ones.
I heard on a radio show that
grocery stores
in the hurricane afflicted areas are boarded up with signs saying "You Loot We Shoot". Really?
I know it's easy for me to say - not actually being in that situation - but as a business person I am pretty confident in saying that if I were a grocery store owner right there right now, I'd be feeding people, not shooting people.
How about you?
