For 40 years, I have walked everywhere, never got a driver's license, never bought a vehicle other then a bike
Some might consider this odd, but I've felt it to be complimentary to my lifestyle of non-materialism and asceticism, some people call it " Poverty ".
My whole life I've watched people whizzing down the road to get somewhere they usually don't even want to be.
I prefer schlepping around in Birkenstocks, and I get there when I do.
