[quote:Eggcellent:MV8yMDQyNDU3XzM0MzMyOTcxX0YyRUZEMTMw] [quote:--Voltaic--:MV8yMDQyNDU3XzM0MzMxMTk4XzkxNkJBNEM=] Wow, everyone is so busy arguing pointless details to see the big picture. I posted 3 times and no one gets it? That or I am being intelligently filtered................ It is about job creation and redistributing wealth. If we have 100 jobs working 40 hr/wk We could have 200 jobs at 20 hr/wk and make it look like jobs climbed 100% with 100 new jobs. But, there is no additional wealth put into society with these job gains. So the wealth is redistributed to the newly employed part timer. The result is even more jobs created when the previously employed at 40+ hrs has to get a second job. Suddenly no body has insurance because the employer doesnt need to provide insurance (30 and under hrs) Now Obammy can force you to purchase insurance out of pocket. I can not believe America fell for this great rip off!!!
Not only that, but those 200 20-hour/week workers will not have the "disposable income" to go and buy things. If no one can afford to buy what the companies produce, those companies will go out of business, creating more unemployment and more people desperately sucking on the Government teat. It's a downward spiral, and once it has begun there is little to no chance of coming out of it.
It's funny how short sighted people are.
Companies aren't going to pay this bill. They will just lower the hours of employees under the limit so they are exempt from Obama's slacker tax. We will become a part time nation which will probably be the death blow to our economy. 30 hours a week max as an employee. If you want 40 hours a week you'll have to juggle two jobs.
It's gonna be hilarious. As a business owner I am definitely going underground. All my employees are going to 30 hours. Screw it. I'll dissolve my company before I pay that commie shit. And most business owners I know feel the same.
