When you think of unhealthy fast food, McDonalds is ALWAYS the biggest and first to come to mind. Been that way for 25 years or so. So burger king isn't as bad in the public eye, generally less older people eating at McDonalds and people waking up and trying to be healthier among other things drives their sales down.
a friend of mine manages one right off I-95 in holly'weird' fl and he told me that there is ALWAYS somebody at the drive thru window 24/7 so that doesn't sound like 'sales are crumbling' to me... McDonalds is food for the poor and God knows there are enough poor people in this country.
Poor people in the U.S. :cruise: You should get out and see the world. As an American, I had no idea what poverty was until I went to countries that are actually poor. Try spending time in a place like Laos and you'll have your definition of "poor people" redefined for you in a hurry. The average worker's salary in Laos is less than $1/day (which is common in many countries in the world), so many people there try to harvest the metal from the millions of bombs dropped on the country during the Vietnam War (Laos is the most heavily-bombed country in history), even though they know there's a good chance the bomb they're trying to get the metal from is UXO (unexploded ordnance) and could well blow up in their faces. Now THAT my friend is poverty.
Nobody cares about your third world country. :stfu:
Alexis de Tocqueville: "I sought for the key to the greatness of America in her harbors; in her fertile fields and boundless forests; in her rich mines and vast world commerce; in her public school system and institutions of learning. I sought for it in her democratic Congress and in her matchless Constitution. Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits aflame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because America is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America ceases to be great." You people with the compassion of a cobra - you deserve what's coning.
Thanks for that, Kirk. The lack of compassion among a certain segment of the population is astonishing. He was a divisive figure, to be sure, but I think Che Guevara said it best: "Above all, always be able to feel deeply any injustice committed against anyone, anywhere in the world." And as for the topic at hand, McDonald's, one of the best things that could happen to this world is that the public wakes up and realizes that they've been poisoned all these years by McDonald's and other fast food companies. McDonald's is a deeply-interwoven part of the fabric of the eugenics agenda of TPTB.
