His family was broke so that's what he did. At fifteen years old he got a promotion from dishwasher to pizza maker. When he went off to college, he earned money working as a pizza delivery boy to help pay for his degree while taking a full course load. When he graduated 4 years later he sold his 13 year old car so that he could have enough money to buy out a partner in a small bar, where he ripped out the walls of a broom closet so he would have enough room to make pizzas which he sold out the back door of the bar for $5. This is where he perfected his pie making. He stayed in the pizza business all those years because he had a dream he developed while in high school that he wanted to achieve -- Papa Johns. After a few years of selling pizzas out of the back door of a bar, he took out a $30,000 loan and built his first Papa Johns. During this time his father died unexpectedly at age 51. He buried his father on a Thursday afternoon and was back at work on Friday morning - because he had to work to make money to pay back his loans and continue his dream. As the business grew through hard work and ingenuity, Papa Johns innovated and was the first pizza place to offer countrywide internet ordering way back in 2002. He expanded his business in 4,000 locations in 32 different countries. John worked hard, innovated and all around busted his ass to grow Papa Johns into what it is today. Which, by the way, offers the opportunity for about 16,000 people to have a job if they actually want to work rather than sit around and complain about others success and how those successful hardworking people dont support them enough. If you liberals are upset that he is "not supportive" of yet another tax that will cost him and his company $28 Million per year, you should take a look in the mirror and figure out why you are all so envious of someone being successful from all of the hard work and dedication they put into achieving a dream. That is honestly pathetic. Dude busts his ass and winds up as a liberal anti-success demonized 1% meme. When in actuality he deserves a friggin medal.
He didn't build that. Someone else made that happen.
