Some shotguns have a permanent choke in the muzzle. If the shotgun you're dealing with has a choke it will say so on the side of the barrel near the chamber gauge stamp. [/quote]
I have a mossberg 500 12 gague and want to know if I need to have a slug barrel to shoot slugs. I'm going deer hunting and want to use slugs but don't wanna buy a slug barrell. Thanks.
