Several MSM news sites are reporting that almost 200,000 people have signed a petition protesting the 9 p.m. opening on Thanksgiving. This comes after Wal-Mart announced it was opening at 8 p.m. on that day. It's being reported that Sears, The Gap, K-Mart, and Toys-R-Us have also announed that they will be opening as well.
So, what do you think? Do you think that workers should be forced to work Thanksgiving night? Are YOU planning on shopping then?
BTW, out of over 8,000 online votes on a Today Show website, 62% say that stores should wait to open until 7 a.m. the day after Thanksgiving.)
