Original Message This definitely seems like a bad omen to me. I have always associated cardinals with spiritual meaning, a good omen or a wave from beyond.

It also is the one and only kind of bird I killed in my life. I was just a 5 year old with a b.b. gun, and realized there was no satisfaction in it after the deed was done, just an empty feeling.

Things, out of my control, are not going well in my life. Things that cause me to worry immensely.

I ask whoever feels compelled to pray for the safety of those so important to me but so far away. My children.
