I just had a weird thought hit my head as I sit listening to his program. I subscribe to no political party or anything, I listen to many different programs on all sides and then vet the information myself.
Anyway, as I'm listening to him lambaste Obama and blah,blah,blah he does one thing that I never realized til just now, that had a profound effect on me. As he complains, he also stresses that theres nothing anyone can do about it.
A direct quote," The media will not allow Behngazi (sp) to become an issue. They've surrounded the wagons to protect Obama, Hillary is too busy to testify, Petraeus' career is in flames, 4 Americans murdered and noone cares. BUT...noone can do anything...not me, not you, not a commitee. They're too powerful for anyone to stand against."
Inofitself, that just sounds like normal rhetoric form Rush, but on a deeper level, I see whats going on maybe.
He gets us mad by telling us all the things going on that the media isnt reporting but then by telling us theres not a damn thing we can do about it, he immediately disheartens people!
He's helping the administration far more than any Democrat by preaching that the government is all powerful...too powerful for us puny bottom feeders to stop. I think he makes it easier for the government to get away with things by the false claim we can do nothing.
With all the recent chatter of seccession and a country clearly divided it's not too far of a stretch to think he's a plant meant to make the people feel like its impossible to challenge the complex.
