Original Message It is no longer a purely "conspiracy" or "lunatic fringe" site. There is a lot more on "down-to-earth" or more orthodox topics like relationships or politics recently.

Some think this is bad but I'm not so sure. In many ways it seems like the "conspiracy" world has become limited. All the classic conspiracies have been talked about over and over and as a community we've reached the end of the line.

I see the new, more "realistic" GLP as a good thing. People are getting engaged with real stuff instead of spinning wild theories that are really more like fantasy.

This is a relfection of the fact that the "real world" has become more insane over the past few years, without a doubt. All the stuff that sounded "crackpot" is no longer crackpot, its simple fact. Maybe its not only that GLP has moved towards a realistic stance - its also that reality has become freakier and more GLPish.
