Remember that not everyone here is either well educated or very bright.

When presented with facts that go against what they want to be true, some people will, without realizing they are doing it, ignore them, or even go out of their way to avoid seeing it to begin with.

The people that deny the science and rely on a few people paid by the oil companies to tell them what to say on sites like this don't really know any better.

Some are even bright enough, in theory, but they can't understand the preponderance of evidence and what it means.

It can be frustrating to explain it to them.

The trick here is to live a good life while you can.

Some of the people here might very well live to see the end of the world as we know it.
