The native americans ate what has been called the trinity. Corn, beans, and squash. Throw in a few squirrels and whatever else comes to hand, you have a balanced diet.
Sounds like my kind of meal minus the squirrel. It's just when I eat a certain amount of meat I feel sluggish and not as vital. A little bit is okay, but the average meat intake of an American makes me feel bad.
Sounds great ! :hf:
Red-meat few times a year. Chicken twice a week. Rest is fish, vegetables and salad. Cheese. Olive oil. Pasta and potato, noodles & herbs for variety. Red wine in the meals, but sometimes beer. Lots of water. Vinegar, citrus-fruits, apples, banana, yogurth, muesli. Some chocolate and espresso. Some bisquits. Some impulses. Rice and beans just don't get through my system, but broccoli is fine.
I eat this almost everyday and I can't get enough of it. Only thing I do is add a little shredded cheddar to my broccoli. I drink water only and I take vitamin C supplements. If this diet is sufficient enough, what's the least things I can add to it to make it more complete?
Thanks.
