Original Message Oil rig fire kills at least 2 off Louisiana coast

HOUSTON -- The U.S. Coast Guard in New Orleans confirms an oil rig caught fire off the coast of Louisiana early Friday.

An early report indicated two people were killed, two are missing, and four were sent to the hospital, said a company spokesman. There was no report on if any oil spilled into the Gulf.
