Original Message This is disgusting! Its all over folks ....and there is nothing we can do about it!

Why this is bad bad bad!

1. For starters, the police force and their management no longer become accountable to the public. They become accountable to their shareholders

2. The Independent Police Complaints Commission will be rendered obsolete, potentially leaving a member of the public, who may have a serious complaint, having no options but to take expensive legal action against one of the largest companies in the world.

3. Huge distrust and disconnect between the public and their police force will lead to civil clashes

4. Where commercial interests are involved, corruption will prevent the proper investigation of cases. Expect far smaller resources devoted to white collar crimes

5. The quality of policing will become compromised due to improperly trained and qualified individuals (as we have seen with the Olympics shambles)
