I'm simply asking a question. Does a situation such as this create a ripe platform for something far more sinister and diabolical? For starters, the hair rose on my neck when Obama recently issued his latest Executive Order:

Naturally, I gave consideration to several of the comments made in the homeless article. One in particular struck a nerve: "For Barton <homeless man>, the new ordinance that would essentially identify law-abiding homeless...The goal is to start managing the homeless population within our city,” said Chief James Wickham."

A police chief with the authority to decide who gets a permit and who doesn't, and under what terms? The matter of vagrancy notwithstanding, am I to infer that crimes committed by the homeless are somehow different than crimes committed by people who have homes? What will qualify a person for a permit? What program of accountability will be implemented? Will there be a medical examination of any sort? Required inoculations? RFID chips? Will there by "homeless zones?" I can go on and on.

With luck, I'm just exhausted from a bad night's sleep. And the overwhelming, unrelenting BS we're being force-fed 24-7.
