Have you been to CoSM? I have been there a few times and met him the first time I was there. I'd love to have time to visit there more often.
No I haven't what town is it located in? I'm sure that would be interesting to go see
When I was there it was in NYC. They have since moved though. Still in NY, but not in the city. I'm not sure what the town is called. It was amazing, really.
I was at one of the last gatherings he had at the old place in NYC. Got to meet the man and actually asked if he'd accept a commission to do a cover for my last bands album (he was gracious but politely declined, not that we could have afforded it anyway lol). At that point the word was out that he was going to move upstate and every stinky hippie that just wanted to get fucked up around cool art was there and trying to be trendy. Awesome surroundings filled with not so awesome (and rather stinky, unwashed) hipsters that were there for all the wrong reasons. I have long since left NYC and can honestly say I don't miss it one bit. Anyway, wanted to say he moved himself and his whole operation to Wappingers Falls, NY which about 60 or so miles north of NYC. It's actually an awesome little bed and breakfast now and I would love to go there for a few days midweek (when I know there'll be no trendy doosh-beg [NY accent] hipsters there to taint my appreciation of some really earth-shattering art). His site is CoSM.org and yes, you certainly should have at least posted a link OP. For a god you're quite insensitive. Feel free to visit his site or the new CoSM. It's worth whatever the cost and will be an experience you won't soon forget.
LOL, I have never been to one of the gatherings there. Wasn't ever able to find the time but always wanted to. Everytime I have been there though, there have only been a few people there so I didn't experience any of that that you did, lol. The first time, it was just us and Alex...and the girl working there.
