I'm mixed race. Black n white.
I think of black people as "they"
I think of white people as "they"
When I meet new people, at some point they always ask me, "What is your nationality?"
And I always reply, "I am American"
At which point they accuse me of being a smart ass and we have a discussion about the difference between nationality and ethnicity.
My point is, people seem to think that getting rid of racial discrimination goes hand in hand with promoting 'multi-culturalism'
I would just like to point out that if you think about this for more than five seconds, you will find that it does just the opposite.
People defend 'multi-culturalism,' by using Orwellian tactics and straw man agruments to make you seem 'racist'
Don't like illegal immigrants Mexicans? You are a racist, they will say.
Ummm. No. Mexico is a country.
If the year was 1944 and I said I didn't like Nazis, would that have been 'racist'? No.
At the end of the day, Multi-culturalism is bad for business. And as a nation, we should turn out back on the very idea. What holds a nation together as much as its formal laws, is its culture.
