Original Message Wal-Mart has perfected the model of making a ton of money by paying their employees dirt and then letting government programs make up for the rest in order to allow their employees to survive. A huge percentage of Wal-Mart employees get food stamps. A huge percentage of Wal-Mart employees get help from their state and local governments for health care. Many Wal-Mart employees get government assistence for housing.

If you think that the government should be small then you should never shop at Wal-Mart. Sure, you might save $0.07 on a gallon of milk. But your taxes will be higher and your government will be bigger if you do.

Shopping at Wal-Mart is a vote for Big Government and the Welfare State.
