Original Message Black is a color and if your skin color is black like the midnight sky, then you are black.

If you came from Africa or any African country thank you are African American. I'm talking about born and raised in Africa , but moved to America.

Example : If you are Egyptian than you are Egyptian American. If you are from Niger than you are Niger American.

Same goes for "whites". Caucasian American is definitely the proper term. Because they are Caucasoids.
If your skin color is white like a sheet of paper than you are white.

This is not a racist thread. I forgot the technical term for Africans.

I know there are four races.
Caucasoid, Mongolian( something like that). I don't know the rest.
