[quote:Anonymous Coward 3063163:MV8yMDU4ODMzXzM0NjI3NTkxXzdDMDFFRDAz] The discovery is from SAM, that analyses soil samples. So its obviously not the "ruins of bases on mars". Morons.. I also doubt that it is any kind of life form. The interview quoted the scientist as telling him daughter and her asking him to pass the ketchup.. I think if she heard life on mars she'd be a bit more intrigued. It's probably a secondary sample with methane in it. Or it is a positive water source. I like everyone hope for microbial life as well, but we don't get that lucky. I just wish all of these mars, and moon base theorists would just be quiet and return to their bongs, and stop taking a piss. There's no secret bases on mars. And there's also no secret bases in your mother's basement. So sleep easy children. Tinfoil hat tip to you potheads. [/quote]

Hi everyone,
I had my radio on driving home from work this evening and one of the leading news story was 'Scientists to make a big announcement regarding the Mars Rover Curiosity' They implied it might be relating to life on Mars! Anyone got any other information regarding this? - Found info, this is HUGE!!!
"This data is gonna be one for the history books. It's looking really good," John Grotzinger, principal investigator for Curiosity told NPR.
