I have recently come to the realization that many of the people I deal with on a daily basis have no conscience. From the sample size of people I deal with, I would estimate it as 25%.
Perhaps this number is large because these people seem to be attracted to me. They seem to view my kindness as a weakness, and in the past have used it to manipulate the shit out of me.
The characteristics I have observed are: Manipulative, Liars, Shameless/Guiltless, persistent, and establishment loving.
Manipulative: They seem to never want to do anything for themselves unless it involves directing people. They use guilt trips and other clever tools to get people to do what they want.
Liars: They Lie to get people to do what they want as a last resort tool for manipulation.
Shameless/Guiltless: They will do anything to manipulate someone, so long as it does not “blow their cover”, and even when their “cover is blown” they will shamelessly get out of it with Lies.
Persistent: You say no to them, they ask again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again…This also fits in with being shameless.
Establishment Loving: They seem to love People of “importance” and love to enforce mainstream opinion.
Even if this number of 25% is subject to a lot of error, I think that the fact that people with no conscience exist even at 1% says something about our society.
That means that 1 out of 100 people would be able to manipulate the other 99 people to their establishment favoring agenda. From there it is easy to see why our society is so easy to control.
