Original Message just say the amazing spider man. wasn't at all that good, but i did notice the strange theme about dr. connors using salamanders (or lizards that can regenerate their tails) to try to grow his own arm back and then ultimately turning into a giant lizard himself. the "shape shifting" parts where his skin started to mutate were especially "interesting.

now, i am still rather undecided about the whole David dIcke reptilian deal.

but, the theme in this movie, corresponding, relatively, at the same time that jesse ventura's reptilian show makes me think that this could also be a bit if a push to bring this more into "the overton window" for what reason, i don't know... yes, it is pure speculation, but seeing the movie made me go "hhhhm..."
