I am a member of the Weatherzone forums and came across these reports of locals in Ingham, a small farming town between Townsville and Cairns, hearing what was described as a loud bang followed by a flash of green light, with reports of 'things' flying through the air towards the ground.
Being a weather forum the first thing that was asked was whether it was thunder? but no storms of thunder was identified in that area at that time. Posters are now talking about a meteorite? Posters said that Face Book is full of reports and speculation.
I have googled it and no one else seems to be talking about this, not the mainstream media anyway.
Any thoughts GLP?
