[quote:Lester 28139937:MV8yMDYwMjU5XzM0NjU4OTYwXzVDMDVCMDI1] Your problem is not only that you are a confirmed catholic, but that you are also stiff-necked in your carnal heart.... What the rcc won't dare tell its parishoners, much less preach to the world, is that Christ Gave HIS Life To Enable those who The Father Called to Abide In & With HIM in Everlasting Relationship. Until you seek The Father and make your surrender of self Unto HIM you will remain a stony-hearted creature of wretchedness, descended of Adam who chose self-will over Relationship With God. Don't matter how "wonderful" you are are doing "good works" and trying to be selfless and pleasing to God. that rcc saint, mother Theresa, is also a wretch as is/are all whoever lived after Christ without giving their lives Unto God The Father. If you Love Christ and Know HIM To Be God The Son, then The Father Has Called your heart. catholicism, which I was born-into and educated through university, is in strong denial of The Gospel and Father's Plan for man. Without Acknowledging Christ Jesus and Trusting The Father Fully with every aspect of your life, you will not Know The Life you were called to live With HIM and The Father.... [/quote]

Anyone else dislike the extreme feelings of guilt brought on by the religion you were born in? Week after week of being told what a sinner I am in church has made me feel like an asshole for doing just about anything that isn't charitable, breaking my leg for someone, or putting my own agenda at risk.
It's literally difficult to live for myself due to these encrypted ideas.
I personally wonder if God wanted to be a psychological hindrance that pains us with guilt, or if he'd prefer we live, learn, and keep growing. The whole religion thing is just too much. Not the responsibility aspect, but all of the dam rules and then the EXTREME attitude of other religious folks and church goers.
It's just too much for me. I don't want to reject God but this whole thing sorta sucks. I hope he won't hate me for saying it.
Coming from a 'confirmed Catholic'.
God bless.
