Walmart is the enemy of the American people, yet some of the you are so blinded by your brainwashing and insatiable need for more cheap chinese shinies that you just cant help but come to defend a company that intentionally destroys communities in the name of capitalism. You as taxpayers subsidize Walmart profits by paying for their employee benefits, doesnt that irk you at all? Walmart is so scared of their employees forming unions that they are willing to walk away from stores that are entirely stocked and ready to open, doesnt that alone tell you that their business practices include things that would never fly with an educated organized workforce? Lawsuit after lawsuit is filed against this business due to the way they treat employees and some of you cheer them on. Its pathetic.
Walmart isn't an enemy of the American people. Douchebags like you are. Walmart provides jobs. Douchebags like you don't. Walmart provides low cost products allowing less wealthy people to afford things they need or want. By offering these items at discounted prices, they are in fact allowing folks of lesser means to live a more comfortable life. Don't like their business model? Don't shop or work there. simple as that.
It really is pitiful how clueless
Yes, standing behind that cash register and putting 16 oz cans on the shelves is slave labor..utterly fucking back breaking. Where do you people come from?
Go pull a double shift with no overtime and then when you are thinking you are going to walk out the door, bossman tells you that you havent finished your work and will do it for free off the clock or you are fired. Thats the shit Walmart does, and people suck San Waltons dick every day in thanks.
Who told you that lie? I know several people that work at Walmart, they can't even score 40 hours. FYI..I pulled double shifts, in FACTORIES, for years. Back breaking labor..manual labor, I got dirty, we didn't have air conditioning when it was 100 degrees outside. I've been injured repeatedly trying to do a mans job. People at Walmart have absolutely no reason to bitch. It's UNSKILLED labor, they are worth ZERO to most employers because they are a dime a dozen. They can be easily replaced. If you want more out of life learn a trade, get an education.
You are missing my point. American taxpayers should not be subsidizing Walmart's profits at the expense of their employees. The Walton clan should trinkle a few extra pennies out of their sleeve and take care of their own so that WE don't have to.
I'm not missing your point. I understand exactly what you're getting at and let me just say.. Walmart is best suited for retirees and students, not adults with families looking to support those families. I don't think we're going to agree on much in regard to this topic.
Despite union efforts to target retailers like Walmart, businesses are reporting record Black Friday traffic – the biggest sign yet that the unions are out of touch with the American people. Starting at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving, Walmart put its products on Black Friday sale, sparking a run to the stores and earning the stores record sales.
They’ve already sold nearly 2 million towels, 1.3 million televisions, and 250,000 bicycles. According to Walmart Chief Executive Bill Simon, over 1.3 million Walmart staffers are on duty. There have been picket lines around the country, but the movement has been far less effective than expected.
