They loved working you 39 hrs a week or less. No benefits, no nothin. [/quote] i don't give a damn about wal-mart quite frankly, but i do have to ask what kept you there if the work and the conditions were so poor? is it wal-marts fault if one has no ambition to better one's self? is it wal-mart's fault if one does not get an education and aspires to a better job? in my opinion they pay you what you are worth and they owe you nothing more than that. YOU owe it to yourself to do better. so because you chose not to better yourself we should all be higher prices for stuff to accomodate a union in wal-mart? by the way for all you wal-mart supporters you may want to check out who sam's son supported in the last election....it wasn't romney. Despite union efforts to target retailers like Walmart, businesses are reporting record Black Friday traffic – the biggest sign yet that the unions are out of touch with the American people. Starting at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving, Walmart put its products on Black Friday sale, sparking a run to the stores and earning the stores record sales.
They’ve already sold nearly 2 million towels, 1.3 million televisions, and 250,000 bicycles. According to Walmart Chief Executive Bill Simon, over 1.3 million Walmart staffers are on duty. There have been picket lines around the country, but the movement has been far less effective than expected.
