Original Message It has been alleged that Jimmy Savile, starting in the 1970's was allowed access to the Duncroft Approved School for Girls in Surrey, where at risk and troubled girls resided. A producer at the BBC has gone on record stating that Duncroft was "strange" in that "celebrities . . . film stars, all sorts of people, minor royalty" would visit the facility and interact with the young girls of the institution. Sometimes, these women would be allowed to leave the institution in the care of these people.
