[quote:Anonymous Coward 28545314:MV8yMDYzNjQ4XzM0NzE4MjI1X0VBMEFGODY1] I think religious people are the most hateful. GLP is a good place to find that out. And the more brainwashed they are, the more extreme they are, the more hate they spew onto other religions and races. [/quote]

What I find amusing is how people use Science as an excuse to down others and spread their hate. They claim that people of faith are ignorant, they call us names, they laugh at how stupid we are, and then they congratulate each other on how intellectual they are compared to those poor idiots who have faith.....
But who is really ignorant? Who is really more keyed into the nuances of life?
Is someone who can explain life through a number of fancy equation somehow better than someone who takes the time to wake up and enjoy the beauty around them (without being able to describe it scientifically)?
In my opinion this is what science and technology has brought us. We no longer care about each other, respect each other or even know how to communicate with each other without arguing and spreading hate. We have become detached from reality and detached from the brotherhood of mankind.
It really is sad that with all of this technology, all of these ways to communicate, and all of these avenues that could be used for good, we are still stuck in the dark ages when it comes to relating to one another.
