Good Morning Fellow Moontards,
On my way to work this morning (about 6:20 a.m. CST) I noticed the moon in the Northwest sky. Very big and red with a aura around it.
It looked very much like the sun setting, only it wasn't.
It was also setting very quickly.
Here's the weird part. The moon was "pulsing". Strange isn't it? It was as if there were a flash of lightning about it. I don't know how else to describe it. The "pulse" was happening every 7-8 seconds before it disappeared, which was very quickly.
I know the moon is full right now and that is normal. But what I saw this morning I've never seen before.
I always notice the moon as I've had quite the history of strange dreams concerning it, so I feel "close" to the moon.
I have a pic of the moon but can't post it. It isn't the best pic as it came from my phone but when you enlarge it, you can see how red it is.
So my question is this. Why was the moon pulsing? And is it supposed to be setting in the northwest at this time of year?
Another thing. Yesterday morning before the sun rose the sky was red and it lasted about 10 minutes before the clouds rolled in.
I live in Nebraska so anyone west of me go out quickly and look to the northwest.
Another Moontard
