I agree with you on that as I no longer consider my gender to be an element of my identity and thus, no longer desire to view others from this perspective either.  It's too bad our bodies don't respond faster to these feelings though.  Truthfully I no longer find psychological satisfaction in eating or engaging in sexual activity, yet my body is still affected by the physiological urges to engage in both.  If I could flip a switch and no longer have to eat food or feel sexual urges, sign me up.  I view both activities as an inconvenience.
