[quote:AcrossTheUniverse:MV8yMDYzOTgyXzM0NzMyNjE3XzUyRjE0QzJE] Truthfully, it isnt that hard to stop eating meat. I am going on three months now. I think you have to be in the right frame of mind, as I tried years ago and failed. The key is to not replace meat with pasta and bread. I do feel "lighter", but have only lost a few pounds. Just can't stomach the suffering of animals anymore. To each his own......follow your own conscience. Peace to you OP:hf:
That is the problem I've seen with a few vegan/vegetarian people. Not getting enough protein and eating more carbohydrates in the place of meat. I mean, most of the meat in stores and what is used in restaurants does not even resemble actual meat. My sister is a vegetarian who eats fish. She says that they have no nervous systems, therefore the kill does not cause pain. Anyone know if this is true? I have a weakness for poultry, otherwise I'm good. Tuna fish on lettuce with guacamole (and assorted veggies) is delicious and you don't get the unnecessary calories of salad dressing. Just puttin' that out there.
I'll leave it at that. A simple request for
