[quote:Anonymous Coward 24182468:MV8yMDY1MDE4XzM1MTE4NTk0XzM1MTczOTZC] [quote:Anonymous Coward 4896045:MV8yMDY1MDE4XzM0NzQ1MDA5X0Q2MEI4Mzcw] Just took these readings. 2mo old 97.0° 22mo old 97.4° 40yo Male 97.2° 36yo Female 97.4° Location: Southern California We first noticed our temps were running low at the beginning of the year. They have always been around 98.7°, unless of course we were sick. Thinking it was a bad thermometer, we purchased a Temporal Scanner Inferred Thermometer to replace the one we had. My temperature tends to stay around 95.0° and my wife's tends to stay around 97.0°. We used to hate the cold and would keep our house at 78.0°, but towards the end of last year, we began to lower the thermostat. The temp we keep our house at now, would have been very uncomfortable to us 2 years ago. **Dirt (by itself) should not stick to a magnet, does yours?** °
The old school glass thermometers are banned, but gave good readings. My new-style battery ones always show 97-point-something, and I know it is not correct. I've tried four or five different styles of these, went back to old style, temp 98.6 like always.
Original Message
Several people I know, including me and my husband, have a "well" temperature of 95 to 97 degrees. Despite us all having 98.6 in the past.
This has resulted in thyroid problems, weight gain, etc.
Has anyone had this experience?
Or know of the true cause or remedies?
