Some of the missiles were supplied in the past weeks by Qatar, the newspaper reported, citing two unnamed Middle Eastern intelligence officials with knowledge of the matter. "It should be worrying to everyone," one of the officials said. "When (Syrian President Bashar al-) Assad is finished, terrorists could end up with these, and commercial flights would be at risk." http://www.dailystar.com.lb/News/Middle-East/2012/Nov-29/196562-syria-rebels-have-new-anti-aircraft-missile-systems-report.ashx?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter#axzz2Dd1bkL2t
I would say: Party on! :5a: Too many "concerning" things happening in the same region. - Syria itself - Syria/Turkey boarder (NATO - Patriot missles) - Israel/Gaza/maybe Lebanon - Egypt - maybe Iran
Post-Election, Obama More Willing to Intervene
In July, Syrian rebel lobbyists reported that the Obama Administration had told them they would not be able to intervene in a serious way until after the November election. The vote’s over and now the meddling can begin in earnest.
That’s the message from US officials tonight, who say the president is now considering several options for deeper intervention into the ever worsening civil war, including the possibility of directly arming certain rebel factions.
