[quote:Epic Beard Guy:MV8yMDY2MDE1XzM0NzYyMDkyXzNGMzg2RDE2] They cannot refuse a "request" from congress. Even the president must send a representative to answer questions when congress invites him to testify. TSA should be defunded and DHS should be eliminated. [b]Q: How many terrorists has the TSA stopped? A: ZERO! [/quote]
I've searched GLP for this topic in several ways and could not find this story:
Posted by the TSA on its own website on Nov 27:
link to www.tsa.gov
By U.S. House of Representatives rules which state that the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee has no jurisdiction over the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), no representative from TSA will be present at the Subcommittee on Aviation hearing scheduled for Nov. 29.
The legal road to tyranny has been paved; Barriers have been erected; Checkpoints have been established, and they can even legally refuse to even be questioned by Congress without any consequence?
This shit has got to stop.
