Fucking tsa think they are above everything, they are just scum imo.
Yes, it broke quietly. No mainstream news. I was shocked not to find it posted here already. It's not the first time they have refused either. They thumbed their noses at congress in 2011 also. TSA is and agency of and for Honey Badgers. http://cnsnews.com/news/article/tsa-skips-oversight-hearing-tsa-full-body-scanners-then-shows-late
was there supposed to be a more recent hearing and if so, can anyone provide a link to it?
Yes, they announced the current "up yours" to congress less than two days ago. TSA has it on its own website. Link in first post of this thread.
I've searched GLP for this topic in several ways and could not find this story:
Posted by the TSA on its own website on Nov 27:
link to www.tsa.gov
By U.S. House of Representatives rules which state that the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee has no jurisdiction over the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), no representative from TSA will be present at the Subcommittee on Aviation hearing scheduled for Nov. 29.
The legal road to tyranny has been paved; Barriers have been erected; Checkpoints have been established, and they can even legally refuse to even be questioned by Congress without any consequence?
This shit has got to stop.
