Everyone is "miserable" at times - the question is what causes it. It might be stress, health issues, kid issues, career issues, spouse issues. Just because you aren't always happy doesn't mean you should abandon your spouse and family. If you aren't happy about something, you fix it. It's almost always easier to fix than start over. Many people ARE mature enough to work through their relationship problems with their spouse. Every relationship has its ups and downs but that doesn't mean you should throw in the towel at the first sign of trouble - things normally do get better. Kids tend to be more secure and happier when living in an intact home with two mature adults who know how to work on their problems. I've been married to the same man for 30 years (we were college sweethearts). We've been through a lot over the years and raised great kids. I have to say we are rather an oddity in some ways as we've always been a very Leave it to Beaver kind of family: good jobs, nice house, nice extended family, great kids. My question is what is wrong with so many people that they can't have that, too, with a little effort? Lazy and selfish people with poor problem-solving and planning skills.
Completely agree, and congratulations on your 30 years of marriage. :hf:
Just wondering why a lot of people on here say that anyone who does not have a GF, or even like women, is gay?!
Personally, I don't think the 5 odd hours of sex a week, is worth the 160 odd hours of crazy.
My life is awesome, I am not married.
