My daughter and I evidently share the challenges in comprehension, because I fail to understand your reply. You suggested that I discuss the matter with you and the Principal. Does the Principal assign the homework? It makes me feel not as challenged, knowing that it requires two of you to explain this, but since I have neither the time nor inclination to come in and speak with either of you regarding something that shouldn't have already taken this much time, it would be appreciated if, after consulting, the two of you could come up with a way to simply explain what is expected on this homework. Would you prefer that I call the principal daily and have him/her explain the homework after talking to you? Thank you.
It needed a little DblTap favor... Sorry. I hate schools, I hate the machine they put our children in.
LOL. Nice. I like it.
Original Message
I e-mailed my daughters 5th grade teacher this morning because the work my daughter brought home for homework made no sense. I just asked the teacher what it is that she wants my daughter to do for her homework beause she doesn't understand it.
Well, instead of an e-mail back telling me, she e-mails me back threatening to have me come in and discuss this matter with her and the principal!!!!
WTH!! I as a concern parent was only asking her a question?? This teacher even told us to contact her by e-mail if we have any questions or concerns.
What should I do???
