George Lucas and Disney have announced several cast members who shall be appearing in the new Star Was movie, the seventh in the series, which follows on from where the Return of the Jedi left off.
Though Darth Vader is dead it has now been confirmed the character will appear in the seventh installment of the blockbuster science fiction hit.
There has been a lot of speculation ever since Disney announced last month that it would buy Lucasfilm for $4.05 billion and resume making "Star Wars" movies, starting with Episode 7 in 2015 with regard to whether or not new cast members would come in to replace the original cast.
In a leaked memo Disney has confirmed that Mickey Mouse will assume the role of Luke Skywalker, previously played by Mark Hammil, Princes Leia will be played by Mouse's wife and sister, Minnie, while the converted roles of Han Solo and Chewbacca will be played by Goofy and Pluto respectfully.
The role of Vader is set to be awarded to Donald Duck.
"It is an exciting time here at Disney" beamed one Disney executive "We have a stable of stars just itching to get involved in this movie, Woody from Toy Story wants a role, so does Snow White....how we are going to get them all in is anybody's guess....but we are Disney...we can do what the heck we want!"
Reports that British comedian and actor Ricky Gervais has been offered the role of an ewok have yet to be confirmed.
