Original Message I have lived in South Florida all of my life. Never has a storm, not even Category 5 Hurricane Andrew, harmed the beachfront. Look at Fort Lauderdale now! Superstorm Sandy didn't even come near us! Is this the beginning of Sea Level Rise? Fort Lauderdale beach no longer even exists! Waves are crashing against the roadway.
