I am still sorry...joking mood...real tired :-) My bigger question than yours is: What made you notice it now? Something must have happened. You didn't just this morning wake up and think to yourself, "Gee, the world is shallow, materialistic and cruel...I guess I'll post something on GLP about this new phenomenon." What made you see it? What makes you state it on GLP?
On some level I've noticed it for most of my life time. I noticed how people always flocked to certain groups depending on their "Social Status" and it always made me wonder. The fact that I woke up 4 years ago to the fact that people are just consumers only alive for the purpose of consuming hasn't helped either. There are too many things I could talk about on this subject. It's been a process of years in the making, but even with the hardships I'm glad I went through it so that I could be able to lift up the spirits of other people around me.
Seriously, it's like they are so judgmental of one another. And most of them that are materialistic are greedy for completely stupid things. They place value in the wrong places and items even. They're so focused on being hip and trendy that they lose focus on what's really important. Things like spending time with loved ones and people who you care about. Things like taking the time to gain a little wisdom every once in a while. And most importantly taking the time and energy into caring! Tell me what you think. Am I right or wrong?
