That's maybe the scariest part of all.

Palestinians at least used to make an effort, however half-assed, to LIE, to try to CONCEAL their real intent.

At least, Arafat and (early) Abbas used to do it in English.    In Arabaic, talking to their own people, they never really hid their GENOCIDAL plans for the Jews and Israel.

But, we've reached some sort of critical mass--- where neither Palestinian faction even pretends to want peace anymore.

*-Islamic Jihad and PRC both proudly calling Tel Aviv and Haifa "settlements"
*-Fatah flag & the contours of future Palestinian state include ALL of Israel.
*-Hamas Charter not only calls for extermination of Israelis, Zionists -- but Jews everywhere, not just in Palestine (using Hadith and Koran passages)

Now people understand why decades before the "1967" occupation controversy....  Palestinian leader and [b]Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Husseini [/b]was one of Adolf Hitler's best friends and begged Hitler to expedite the [b]EXTERMINATION [/b]of the European Jews as well as Jews in Palestine when (presumably) Hitler were to emerge victorious in WW-2....

Mufti wanted all of that in 1920s and 1930s -- long before Israel's birth or 1967 land dispute.

Just think about that for a minute.... then the very CRUX of the Israeli-Palestinain conflict will suddenly crystalize.

In truth, there is NO conflict, per se.   Conflict implies the 2 participants -- 2 to tango, as it were.

There is only one party here that wants to annihilate, exterminate, extinguish and erase the memory of the **Other**.    And it rhymes with "Killistinians"

And what of Jewish settlements?    LOL, they are beyond a non-issue.     If Palestinians ever wanted REAL peace and a few apartment buildings stood in the way --- Israel would dismantle them so fast, your head would spin.    Much like they did in Sinai, South Lebanon and Gaza.

And for Gaza pull-out, they got 10,000 rockets as Palestinian "thanks".

PS.   The thing about Mahmoud Abbas is that for years now he was held up as almost THE only voice of moderation and peace among Palestinians.    NY Times, BBC and al-Jazeera went into overdrive to all but sancify Abbas.

Yes, the same Abbas:

-whose doctorate dissertation was in DISPROVING the [b]Holocaust[/b].    Yes, think about the kind of an evil SICK mindset of a person who devotes their life to denying/disproving something like the Holocaust.  I mean, who does that???!   It's like someone who foams at the mouth screaming that Ed Gein "only" murdered 35 innocent people instead of 50.

(Except, multiplied by 100,000 Ed Geins in the context of Holocaust)

That means it will kill it.

The peace-process is now hanging by a thread.

That includes the Israeli-Gaza ceasefire, the Oslo Accord and the Arab-Israel peace pact.

The whole lot.
